Ice Path Locations
If you want to catch wild Pokemon in Soul Silver, you must know where to find them in the Ice Path. This four-floored cave connects Route 44 and Blackthorn City. To find Pokemon, you must first travel to the Ice Path, which is a place in Johto. Once you get there, you will have to complete the quests to obtain the Pokemon. The Ice Path is a very challenging area and you must be a little careful as you might not be able to find certain types of Pokemon here.
The first location to find Ice Heal is on the third basement level. Go south of the right set of stairs. You can then slide to the stairs and use the Nevermeltice to power up Ice-type moves. Once you have found this item, move to the stairs to use it. When you reach the top, you will be able to see HM 07, Water Fall. You can also find Ice Heal and Max Potion on the ice fields in Pryce’s Gym.
Ice Path Tricks
There are a number of Ice Path tricks and tips that will help you get through this area in the most efficient manner. It is a frozen place that requires a lot of thought in order to cross. The ice sheets move endlessly in the direction of pressing them and will stop only when you hit a hard object. Those guides that are specifically designed for the Ice Path will not cover the techniques used here in detail. Most of these moves are no-brainers, and you may even be able to use more than one technique at once.
The Ice Heal has located two rooms after the large icy room with boulders. It can be found on a boulder above the stairs. You’ll have to climb a ladder and slide across the ice to reach it. You’ll need the NeverMeltIce item for this one. If you can’t find it, just ask a friend to help you out. If you have trouble getting this item, you may need to use a Max Potion.
Getting around
The ice path is a hard part of the game. To get around this area, you can use Rock Smash and NeverMeltIce items. It is best to use them in the morning, as the experience boost is bigger than during the day. Once you get enough items, you can climb a ladder and slide on the ice. Then, you can head to Blackthorne City to get to the exit.
To complete the Ice Path, players need to visit the north of Blackthorn City and enter the cave. Once inside, players must visit a shrine and answer questions. Once they’re done, they’ll earn the Gym Badge. After that, they can continue on to the next part of the game: the Blackthorn City.
