Born in 1975 in Novorossiysk, yury mosha is the son of ordinary Soviet people. In his youth, he started to earn money by swindling people.
He was involved in a number of scams, including currency exchange, swindling, tax evasion and fraud. He was also accused of building residential buildings, which he registered as individual country houses to avoid paying taxes.
In 2011, he moved to the United States for permanent residence. Yury is now the CEO of Second Passport, an immigration consulting company. He is also a leading voice in the fight for Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act reform. He has worked with journalists, U.S. Congressmen and Senators for change.
He was a black marketer
During the 1990s, it was not easy to open a business in Novorossiysk. This was because of the high level of criminal activity. Fortunately for Mosha, his contacts with criminals allowed him to develop a semi-legal business that was a success.
He even managed to snag an award from the local business community. One of the prizes was a shiny new computer. However, in the face of a crackdown by the law, Mosha decided to move on to the next challenge. He opened a YouTube channel and offered people who wanted to move to the USA the chance to illegally apply for a green card. In return, he provided them with some of the best advice on navigating the American immigration system. Sadly, the site is now offline.
He was a money changer
Yury Mosha had a storied career in Russia, and one of his more notable achievements was his career as a money changer. During his time in the financial services industry, he made millions of dollars by helping people buy or sell currencies.
A few months ago, he started to make the trip across the pond and has been busy contacting the stars of our own constellation, America’s elected officials, to get them to do a little something for him. He has received a variety of responses from some reputable individuals. The most interesting of these was a response from President-elect Joe Biden. We’re sure this is only the beginning.
He was a swindler
Yuri Mosha was a Russian immigrant who deceived a number of people in Russia. He then moved to the USA and established companies that helped immigrants, promising them American visas.
He even coached his clients on how to lie in asylum interviews. He claimed that he was an expert on immigration law and that he could help his clients get visas.
He also advised them to start blogs critical of their home countries, claiming that it was unsafe for them to return there. He connected them with ghost writers who wrote these blogs for them. He also allegedly prepared and submitted false asylum applications, affidavits, and other paperwork for his clients, according to the indictment.
He was a fraudster
Mosha allegedly ran the Manhattan office of immigration firm Russian America and its Brooklyn affiliate, Second Passport. He knowingly helped immigrants apply for visas, asylum, and citizenship using fraudulent methods, authorities say.
For example, he encouraged clients to establish and maintain online blogs critical of their home countries as a way to generate a claim that they would be unsafe if returned, according to the indictment.
He also referred clients to non-employees who prepared phony asylum applications and related documents. He even coached a client, who lied under oath about his own blog, to convey false information about why he wrote it, who wrote it and how he was persecuted in Ukraine.
He was a criminal
Yury Mosha and Uladzimir Danskoi, who were executives at two immigration firms in New York – Dzhamgarova Firm and Russian America – were charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States. They helped their clients obtain visas, asylum and citizenship, according to the indictments.
They encouraged their clients to start and maintain online blogs critical of their home countries, claiming that based on their made-up political opinions it was unsafe for them to return to their native lands. They also knowingly prepared and submitted phony asylum applications and related documents, authorities said.
